Aamir Khan copies Salman

Salman Khan's Yashraj Film Ek Tha Tiger unveiled its first look through a digital poster. Rather than a regular film poster the production house used the technology of the digital poster for the film. Now, Aamir is also planning to release a film poster for Reema Katgis film which will be digital.

A source reveals the idea came when Aamir saw the poster for Ek Tha Tiger and was quite impressed with the way it looked. "Aamir is thrilled with the concept of using a digital poster. He's going to sit with the creative team and work it out. Since he's hands on with every project he plans to get involved in the creative process of making the poster as well."

Wish Aamir was single: Kangna Ranuat

Tonight while making an appearance on a popular TV chat show, Kangna Ranaut reveals the one for whom her heart beats most in Bollywood!

Talking with celebrity host Simi Garewal, Kangna who believes that acting is her passion and she wants to make her mark in Bollywood, said, “I would like to be a part of classics. I am a gifted person. I want to be a part of cinema that is remembered.”

Besides cinema, Kangna gets candid on the personal front with Simi when the host asks her as to what attracts her to men. The actress said, "I get attracted to intellectual people like Mahesh Bhatt.”

And among the Bollywood biggies, her heart beats for Aamir Khan and she wishes he was single.

Further talking about her new-found-love on the show, she said, "The guy I`m dating is not from Bollywood. In fact, he is an English scientist who talks about such significant things like the genesis of cancer. They are saving lives and we are just making movies!"

Well, given Kangna’s track of romantic liaisons, we can only wish her all luck and hope this time the girl has found true and real love.

Katrina Kaif to raise oomph in 'Dhoom: 3'

Yash Raj Films (YRF) had been on the lookout for a fresh face for the role, which was essayed by Esha Deol and Aishwarya Rai, in "Dhoom" and "Dhoom:2", respectively.

"After almost a year of searching for a new face for 'Dhoom: 3', we were still unable to find the perfect debutante to play the lead role. We even reached out to international talent but were still unable to find someone who stood out," said director Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor.

The choice was made jointly by Victor and producer Aditya Chopra.

"Once we decided to go with a known face and not pursue the newcomer route, Katrina was the obvious choice for all of us," Victor said in a YRF press statement Friday.

Katrina has been riding high on the success of films like " Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" and another YRF venture " Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" earlier this year.

"She is someone who we all know will bring tremendous enthusiasm and commitment to the film. The first time pairing of Aamir with Katrina will also certainly add value," he added.

"Dhoom: 3" is written and directed by Victor, who had also written "Dhoom" and " Dhoom 2".

Apart from Aamir, both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali, respectively.

The shooting will begin towards the end of this year. "Dhoom: 3" is slated for a 2012 Christmas release.

The Khans want me, I'm lucky says Kareena Kapoor

With three back-to-back blockbusters, you almost expect Kareena Kapoor to be sitting pretty on her throne with a tiara on, waving her magic wand.

Instead, she remains as we know her; candid and confident as she talks about love, life and leading the big, bad Bollywood race.

You must have your hands full, guarding the number one status you've reclaimed with Bodyguard.

I am more than happy being number 100 on the list, too! But that doesn't take away from the fact that Bodyguard has shattered records. I'm enjoying every bit of it. I work to see and sense this adulation, not for tags that are hardly permanent.

But a Salman Khan film is always all about him. The heroine is generally incidental.

I can proudly say that here's a Salman film where the girl finally has something to do apart from hanging around and singing songs. Bodyguard is predominantly about the heroine. There is no movie without her.

Many say you're piggyback riding on the Khans' success. Is it easy to earn a hit that way?

It was the Khans who came to me. They could have chosen anyone, but they wanted me. If I don't work with Aamir, Salman, Saif, Shah Rukh and Imran, with whom am I supposed to work with? They are practically half the industry. I'm pretty lucky. I mean, I'm the only actress to have worked with Aamir in two back-to-back films.

Your equation with the three big Khans must be quite different

They basically see me as Karisma Kapur's little sister. With each of them, the relationship is very professional. Like Salman has his quirks, so do SRK and Aamir. They also know how I work, so there is a comfort level.

Is Aamir your favourite of the lot?

Everyone knows I am a huge Aamir fan. We share great chemistry, but I think Saif and I also make a deadly pair in Agent Vinod. It's probably why he insisted on casting me in this film.

Are you insecure when Saif casts other heroines in his home productions?

Not at all! I'm actually looking forward to a film where he'd be cast opposite Priyanka (Chopra). There's something very approachable about her and something very suave and sexy about Saif. Their pairing would work well.

On a personal note, we hear Saif and you are getting hitched next February.

I also hear about how many carats Saif has gifted me, and the desert we'll be serving at our wedding! It's very intriguing. I barely manage to meet my family and Saif and people are already planning my wedding in their heads.

You're doing the Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai sequel. Would you be comfortable if (former boyfriend) Shahid joins the cast?

I still have to read the script, but I would be okay with anyone.

Are you in touch with Shahid?

I don't pick up the phone and talk to him, but there is no bad blood between us. It's a chapter in my life both Saif and I respect, and it will always be like that.

Lastly, is there a role you recently saw and wish you did?

All of Meryl Streep's roles. It's incredible what she does. I wish, when I am 60, I work as much as her. That would be something.

Why hide marriage plans, especially since you've said you're ready for it?

I am the only actress who can proudly proclaim to have a personal and professional life. I don't understand when people say things like they don't have time for love. I have given some of my biggest hits with Saif in my life.

What bigger proof that it works if you balance it out. There was a point when I said I want to do nothing but work. Now that has changed. My relationship is of utmost importance. So when a date is fixed, we will let everyone know.

Is there family pressure? What does your sister have to say?

She asks me to enjoy life and work at my own pace. Plus, nothing will change after marriage. I may cook for Saif when I get the time, but otherwise it's going to be the same.

Why celebs supported Anna Hazare?

John Abraham
They say there is always another side to every story.

As we see the 'face of the nation', Anna Hazare getting open support from various Bollywood celebs, it makes us wonder what brought them to the center stage of this political uprising. B-Town bigwigs Aamir Khan, Raju Hirani and Om Puri were present at the Ramlila Maidan, Delhi, while others like John Abraham, Vidya Balalan, Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitley, Udita Goswami et al, were supporting Anna's fight against corruption directly or indirectly in various cities.

So, what's the agenda behind the celeb support for Anna? Are these stars cutting a piece of cake for themselves? Says Kailash, "When you see these stars, it's visible that they are fake, that they are fooling people and are doing it for the sake of free publicity. I have never seen people changing colors like that." But then he diplomatically adds, "In India the system breaks you and your spirit. And this makes people think why should I initiate a process. With Anna taking such a strong stand, it has given people hope to fight for a cause, something to fall back on when they want to take a stand against something."

There also surfaces a subtle divide within the hitherto united 'big family' - the Hindi film industry. Even as Anupam Kher, (who played the ideologically upright headmaster in Saaransh) came out to support Anna, the man who made the movie and his former mentor, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt opposed Anna's stance. On one hand, we had Aamir making his positive presence felt, and Salman's bodyguards beat up Anna supporters on the other.

While Amitabh Bachchan and Shekhar Kapur openly supported Anna on microblogging sites, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar were skeptical and Ram Gopal Varma even pretended ignorance about Anna! And then there were some who suddenly resurfaced from almost anonymity (like Raja Bundela, Sambhavna Seth, Raghubir Yadav) to ensure that they championed the most talked about cause of the moment. With their movies up for release, you could see some star casts in the front row of the protest rallies.

There was John Abraham breaking "dahi handis of corruption"as he put it during Janmashtami celebrations, Vishal Dadlani and Raghu Ram bragging about their 'participation in the Mumbai rally to support Anna' on social networking sites, and Vidya Balan, Shreyas, Bipasha, Udita and Celina in their Anna topis, Rakhi Sawant berating Team Anna, Jacquiline Fernandez refusing to support Anna - every celeb wanted a piece of Anna.

But do these celebrities really need to be out there in what it is being called the common man's revolution? Udita says, "I feel celebrities should stay away from the entire campaign. If this is a common man's uprising then it should remain like that and with Bollywood celebrities appearing on stage, the focus inadvertently shifts to the glamour they automatically bring in." But the ways and the cause is again appreciated and supported, she says, "It has definitely made a difference as we in India have become used to bomb blasts, but a man fasting has stirred the whole nation."

Opportunity knocks only once on your God forsaken door and it's wise to make use of it. However, to say that exactly that's what is happening will be drawing your own conclusions, but also there is no smoke without fire. Anna is surely fighting for one cause we all have got affected with at least once in our lifetime and actress Shital Shah sums it up best when she says, "I am happy that Anna managed to raise a very pertinent issue and sensitize the masses to it. What team Anna has come up with may not be foolproof and it would require some time on the part of everyone to bring out a bill that is in the best interests of the country." Chips in Celina, "Sometimes a change needs a revolution and the stand against corruption has brought every citizen of this country together just like we stood against the British. Celebrities supporting a good cause is important because we are all in our own ways role models to someone or the other. Mostly the youth in India needs the correct motivation."

With the impact of Anna being all-permeating at the moment, for many celebrities, it was also a chance to be in the arclight once again, so they seized the day to get every Anna's worth of publicity that can only help them professionally in the long run.

Today, Aamir Khan in Ramlila Maidan with Anna Hazare to Support him.

Aamir, who left Mumbai on Saturday morning, was expected to break his ramzan fast at the Ramlila Maidan with other Anna supporters.

Aamir's appearance is likely to give a boost to Anna's movement.
